Greetings all and Happy Spring. Thanks to everyone who ordered Easter Baskets from LUK. Our little bunny, Nanette has been busy preparing baskets made to order. Also, thanks to everyone that donated non-perishable items for the Falls Church Inclement Weather Shelter. Timing was perfect – days after the snowstorm.
Correction! The Tea Party and Baby Shower to support Elizabeth House of Borromeo Housing Inc. will not happen on May 18th as previously announced. We are working with Elizabeth House to reschedule for another day in May or June. Updates will be posted in the May Knight Life.
We are always looking for new members. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Ladies U-Knighted, we are a group of women that support and promote the goals and endeavors of the Knights of Columbus, Edward Douglass White Council No. 2473 by raising funds through volunteer efforts. We meet at 7:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the K of C Old Council Home, 5115 Little Falls Road, Arlington, VA. Membership is open to any woman who is compelled to help those in need, provide excellence in its many activities, whether religious, charitable, or social, and have fun.
